In the past, NHSDC conferences have been HUD-approved, which means that HMIS funds awarded under the Continuum of Care (CoC) and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Programs could be used to attend. NHSDC anticipates that our Spring 2018 Conference in Pittsburgh will also be HUD-approved. Once HUD issues the official notice of approval through their listserv NHSDC will post it on our website.

Important note: As in prior years, even if the Spring 2018 conference is HUD-approved, projects without funds designated for HMIS cannot use funds from other budget line items (e.g., project admin funds) to attend this event.

About the National Human Services Data Consortium

The NHSDC provides information, assistance, peer education, and lifelong learning to its membership and other interested parties in the articulation, planning, implementation, and continuous operation of technology initiatives to collect, aggregate, analyze, and present information regarding the provision of human services.

Our conferences highlight the good work that you and your community are doing to leverage data in the fight to end homelessness. All communities employ different strategies and creative means to tackle the social services issues.

We look forward to seeing you in April!

Guidance on submitting SPM data via the HDX will also soon be available for download from the System Performance Measures page on the HUD Exchange.
  • System Performance Measures Submission Webinar

HUD will be providing a webinar to communities on submitting their SPM data to HUD via HDX on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 3:00 to 4:00 PM EDT. Register for the 2017 System Performance Measures Data Entry Training to attend the training.
