Resources and assistance to support HUD's community partners Home Programs Resources Training Reminder: Point-in-Time Count Resources The Point-in-Time (PIT) count is a little over a month away now. As you prepare for your count we wanted to remind you of a few resources: Notice CPD-18-08: 2019 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and PIT Data Collection for CoC and ESG Programs: This Notice outlines HUD’s requirements for the 2019 HIC and PIT count.   PIT and HIC Guides, Tools, and Webinars: This site contains several resources communities can use to plan and conduct their counts.   Crosswalk of Key Federally-funded Child and Youth Homeless Contacts: The U.S. Department of Education, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and HUD worked together to update the list of contacts for each community’s education liaisons, Continuum of Care primary contact, and Runaway and Homeless Youth provider, where those resources are available.   October PIT Count Office Hours Materials: HUD conducted PIT count office hours on October 30, 2018 and the resources associated with that are now posted.   Upcoming January PIT Count Office Hours: HUD will be hosting one more office hours session prior to the 2019 PIT count on January 10, 2019 from 2:00-3:30 PM EST. Come prepared to discuss use of surveys and observation-based information as well as any last minute questions you have. Register for the webinar. If you have questions about conducting your HIC and PIT counts, please submit them to the HDX Ask A Question (AAQ) portal on the HUD Exchange website. To submit a question to the HDX AAQ portal, select “HDX: Homelessness Data Exchange” from the “My question is related to” drop down list on Step 2 of the question submission process.
