A project of the District Alliance for Safe Housing, a safe housing program in D.C., NASH provides programs and communities with the tools, strategies, and support necessary to improve coordination between domestic and sexual violence services and homelessness and housing providers, so that survivors and their children can ultimately avoid homelessness as the only means of living free from abuse.
The federal Domestic Violence Housing Technical Assistance Consortium is funded by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Department of Justice (DOJ), and Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), to provide training, technical assistance, and resource development at the critical intersection of domestic and sexual violence, homelessness, and housing. |
