HUD reminds Continuums of Care (CoCs) that beginning on April 1, 2017, CoC homeless assistance grant recipients must submit their Annual Performance Report (APR) data through Sage. HUD has provided the resources below to help with this process:

System Performance Measures: Guidance Materials and Resources Available
The System Performance Measures Module has been opened in HUD’s Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX). FY 2016 System Performance Measures data must be submitted via HDX by Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at 7:59:59 PM EST. HUD announced resources available to CoCs as they prepare to submit their data. Key resources include a Data Submission Manual and a Data Submission Guidance Webinar.

FY 2017 CoC Program Grant Inventory Worksheets (GIWs) Available for Review
HUD has posted the FY 2017 CoC Program Competition GIWs to the HUD Exchange for review by CoCs, project recipients, and interested stakeholders. This announcement also contains important dates and additional resources for the FY17 CoC Program Competition.

FY 2017 CoC Program Registration Updates
The Notice of FY 2017 Opportunity to Register and Other Important Information for Electronic Application Submission for the CoC Program Competition has been posted to the HUD Exchange and the e-snaps system is available. The deadline for registration forms to be submitted was May 1, 2017 at 8:00 PM EDT. All CoCs were able to submit their registration by the deadline.

Vets@Home - Technical Assistance for Communities to End Veteran Homelessness in 2017
HUD invites CoCs who are new to Vets@Home or continuing their TA engagements to request technical assistance. CoCs new to Vets@Home should submit a TA request through the HUD Exchange’s Request Technical Assistance form to request remote TA​.

2017 HIC & PIT Count Data: Submittal Deadline
The 2017 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) count data deadline for submission was Monday, May 1, 2017 at 7:59:59 PM EDT. Data should have been submitted via HUD’s Homelessness Data Exchange (HDX). Note: On May 1st, the deadline was extended on May 4th.

This webinar educates participants about the components of the Notice Establishing Additional Requirements for CoC Centralized or Coordinated Assessment System and connects the dots across all of HUD's Coordinated Entry requirements and recommendations. The webinar introduces viewers to HUD's TA materials to aid their compliance efforts, including a Coordinated Entry Process Self-Assessment.

The HOPWA Institute: Housing’s Role in Ending the HIV Epidemic

August 9-11, 2017
The Office of HIV/AIDS Housing looks forward to welcoming Grantees and Project Sponsors to ensure that everyone has the same thorough understanding of the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program and its upcoming change. The HOPWA Institute will be an interactive event with breakout sessions, general discussions, topical speed clinics, and a resource room.
