CAB members inform our work to design and advocate for policies to end homelessness. soar releases 2016 outcomes
The SOAR (SSI/SSDI Outreach, Access and Recovery) Technical Assistance Center has released the outcomes of applications submitted from 2006 through June 2016.

Since 2006, SOAR has assisted 36,112 people experiencing or at risk of homelessness in accessing Social Security disability benefits.

Alliance sponsors national symposium on ending youth homelessness
Registration is open for the First National Symposium on Solutions to End Youth Homelessness. The symposium, hosted by Point Source Youth in collaboration with the McSilver Institute for Poverty Policy and Research and the NYU Silver School of Social Work, will be held at New York University June 19-20.

Get Prepared for the 2017 Continuum of Care Program NOFA

The release of the Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA) registration notice often marks a stressful time for communities. It begins the process of rigorous examination of data, assessment of priorities, and ultimately the need to make tough decisions at the program and system level. While we at the Alliance recognize that this can be challenging, we believe the NOFA process provides an opportunity too.

Upon the Passing of Mike Lowry

It is with great sadness that we share the news that former Washington Gov. Mike Lowry, Alliance Board Co-Chairman, five-term Member of the US House of Representatives, and longtime advocate forhousing, environmental and other progressive causes, died Monday.
