Vicki Been, Katherine O'Regan Return to NYU Furman Center

Been, most recently commissioner of the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development under Mayor Bill de Blasio, and O'Regan, most recently assistant secretary for policy development and research at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, will return to the New York University Furman Center for Real Estate and Urban Policy as faculty directors.

Mixed-Income Innovation and Action Network to Launch

Salin Geevarghese has been appointed founding director of the Mixed-Income Innovation and Action Network -- a new venture of the National Initiative on Mixed-Income Communities, Urban Strategies Inc., and the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP). The network will improve, accelerate, and track the progress of the national effort to create equitable mixed-income communities. Geevarghese most recently served as deputy assistant secretary for international and philanthropic innovation at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. He will be based with CSSP.
