Opening Doors: Six Years of Progress 
Yesterday marked the 6th anniversary of the release of Opening Doors. Because of your dedication and commitment to collaboration, we've reduced overall homelessness by 11%; other significant reductions between 2010 and 2015 include a 36% reduction in Veteran homelessness and a 22% reduction in chronic homelessness.

Together, we are ending homelessness.

White House Policy Briefing Celebrates Progress, Explores Next Steps to Prevent and End Youth Homelessness
                

Earlier this month, the White House, True Colors Fund, and USICH hosted the second annual Policy Briefing on Ending Youth Homelessness. This was an exciting opportunity to reconvene with stakeholders from multiple sectors to assess our progress and press forward to achieving the Opening Doors goal of ending youth homelessness in 2020.
Deputy Director Jasmine Hayes and Executive Director Matthew Doherty, reflect on the policy briefing, the insights offered by the young participants, and the actions we are taking to continue our progress.  



Newly Updated! 10 Strategies to End Veteran Homelessness

   
United States of America flagWe know what it takes to end Veteran homelessness. Three of the 10 most populous cities in the country have already achieved the goal, along with 23 other communities and two entire states.
We've incorporated lessons learned from those communities into our newly updated 10 Strategies to ensure that every community can build a sustainable system to end Veteran homelessness once and for all.
Focusing on the Needs and Strengths of Women Will Help End Homelessness
