[MARHMIS] Fwd: Invitation to Demonstrate HMIS Software Product

Good afternoon,

The Georgia HMIS Collaborative, consisting of approximately 4,600 active users in eight Continua of Care, will be issuing an HMIS RFP later this year; however, many of the stakeholders have never had the opportunity to see products from other software providers. In order to educate stakeholder discussions for the purpose of developing the RFP, the Georgia Department of Community Affairs (DCA), as the designated HMIS Lead for the Georgia HMIS Collaborative, is extending an invitation to HMIS software vendors to demonstrate the functionality of their HMIS software product to the Georgia HMIS community and other stakeholders via GoToWebinar. Please note that these demonstrations will be for informational purposes only.

Below are the guidelines that will be implemented for the demonstration webinars:
·         Each vendor will have 50 minutes demonstration time; and
·         The webinar will not be interactive.
·         Each vendor is encouraged to provide an overview of their HMIS software product and features.
·         Specific content of the presentation is at the discretion of each vendor.
The allotted dates and times in which the demonstrations will be conducted are:
·            Wednesday, May 18, at 9:00am, 10:00am, 1:00pm, and 2:00pm
·            Thursday, May 19, at 9:00am, 10:00am, 11:00am, and 3:00pm
If you wish to participate and conduct a demonstration of your system for the GA HMIS community and other stakeholders, please provide your contact information (contact name, phone and email) and list your top 3 date and time preferences to the attention of Scott Kubie (scott.kubie@dca.ga.gov) by 12:00pm on Monday May 16, 2016.

If all of the allocated timeslots are taken and additional providers wish to provide an informational demonstration of their HMIS software product, additional timeslots will be made available the following week.

Upon receipt, Scott will provide an acknowledgement of your request and your designated time.  Each vendor will receive the webinar connection information at least 2 days prior to the allotted demonstration.

Any questions should be directed to Scott Kubie at 404-679-3155.  Vendors are prohibited from directly contacting members of the Georgia HMIS Collaborative community in regards to the upcoming HMIS RFP and all inquiries must be directed to Scott Kubie.  Failure to comply may disqualify any subsequent proposal made by the vendor in response to the RFP.

Again, these demonstrations are for information gathering purposes for the Georgia HMIS Collaborative community.  There are no guarantees or commitments being made based upon the participation of a vendor.  A vendor that chooses not to participate in the demonstration webinars will be allowed to submit a response to the upcoming RFP.

Please feel free to forward this e-mail as appropriate.

Kindest regards –

Scott
