The homeless service system and education system are serving many of the same people when it comes to homeless students and their families, and the two systems have many overlapping goals when working with homeless students and their families. So why do schools and service providers often get stuck when trying to collaborate? This webinar will explore some of the reasons why, and offer an approach to collaboration along with some tools for getting unstuck.
This session will be presented by John McGah, Senior Associate at the National Center on Family Homelessness at the American Institutes for Research (AIR), with remarks from Kevin Solarte, Special Assistant in the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development's (HUD) Office of the Secretary, and will be geared towards a housing provider audience.
