Save the Date: Preparing for Your 2015 Housing Inventory Count & Point-in-Time Count Webinar - December 17, 2014 at 3:30 PM EST


HUD will host a webinar on preparing for the 2015 Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) Count on Wednesday December 17, 2014 from 3:30 - 4:30 PM EST. The webinar will cover the 2015 Notice for Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and Point-in-Time (PIT) Data Collection for Continuum of Care (CoC) Program and Emergency Solutions Grant Program. It will highlight new reporting requirements and data collection guidance for the 2015 HIC and PIT Counts. During the presentation, webinar attendees will have the opportunity to ask questions related to the HIC/PIT Notice. HUD will send the webinar registration information by the end of this week.
If you have questions about entering HIC or PIT data that are not covered in this Notice, please submit them at the Ask a Question page on the HUD Exchange. On Step 2, select HDX: Homelessness Data Exchange (Including PIT, HIC, and AHAR) from the My question is related to drop down.

Reminder: NDRC Q&A Session: Unmet Recovery Need Threshold Response Webinar (December 11, 2014, 3 PM EST) and New Webinar Series Resources


This webinar is one in many upcoming webinars in the NDRC Webinar Series. This webinar, held on December 11, 2014 at 3:00 PM EST, will answer questions after a brief presentation on the Unmet Recovery Need Threshold Response. Please watch the previously posted NDRC NOFA: Unmet Recovery Need/Most Impacted and Distressed Threshold Response Briefing and review Appendix G to the NOFA before the Q&A Session. To access Appendix G please download the NDRC Application:
  1. Go to http://www.grants.gov/web/grants/home.html
  2. Click on the "Browse Agencies" Tab under "Find Open Grant Opportunities"
  3. Click on "Department of Housing and Urban Development"
  4. Click on "FR-5800-N-29" (National Disaster Resilience Competition)
  5. On the next screen, click the "Application Package" tab
  6. Click "Download" under "Instructions and Application"
  7. Enter and verify your email address or check "No, I do not wish to provide my email address"
  8. Click "Submit"
  9. Click on the "Download Application Instruction" link and download the zip file
