Attached and below is the information discussed.  I'm working on the other follow-up items, and we'll send those out more broadly as soon as possible.

Chronic Homelessness Notice-

There is some information here on recordkeeping requirements for homelessness and chronic homelessness.  However, this really comes down to the CoC needing to also have sound written standards in place to ensure that projects know what they need to collect and when.  I encourage HMIS Leads to go back to their CoCs about this and make sure that they are at the table when the CoC is considering their written standards on this topic, given its intersections with HMIS data collection and reporting.

REGISTRATION CHANGED: 2014 HMIS Data Standards Training

For those of us that are not on the MARHMIS listserv, please see below.

If you have registered for the 2014 HMIS Data Standards Training tomorrow(9/24) or Monday's (9/29), the webinar link has changed, please re-register.  If you have not yet registered, please disregard the original announcement and use the webinar information contained in this post. Please note that Monday's webinar is a repeat of tomorrow's.

The deadline for 2014 HMIS Data Standards implementation is fast approaching.  To help your CoC better prepare for the 10/1/14 implementation date, HUD regional TA providers will present this informational Webinar to ensure that your community understands the following:
·         Data Standards requirements
·         Expectations for meeting the data standards deadline
·         HUD and TA resources
·         Peer resources and status of implementation


The Webinar will not only present HUD developed and approved presentation materials but will also allow for conversation regarding imminent issues or challenges with fully implementing the Standards by October 1, 2014.  This may include issues regarding software compliance, version upgrades, upgrade testing, Data Warehouse integration, policy changes, end user training, and end user adoption.  Please join us.
