Save the Date: Upcoming Basically CDBG for Entitlements and Disaster Recovery Module Training

The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is pleased to announce a series of 3-day Basically CDBG for Entitlement Grantees and Disaster Recovery Module Training, in San Antonio, TX and Philadelphia, PA. This training will guide and assist Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grantees in the implementation of their programs. Participants will learn:
- CDBG National Objectives & Eligible Activities
- Program Administration & Financial Management
- IDIS Performance Measurement & Recording/Recordkeeping
- CDBG Disaster Recovery
Each training will include a combination of lecture and hands-on in-class exercises. The training includes a half (½) day module on CDBG Disaster Recovery.
Who Should Attend?
This training is intended for all Entitlement grantees – even those who do not currently have a Disaster Recovery allocation.
Please note that only one staff member per grantee will be allowed to register and attend a training session. Staff members from CDBG-DR grantees and CDBG-DR subrecipients will be given priority.
Due to limited space, registrations will be reviewed. Do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation email from the Class-specific Training Point of Contact.

Basically CDBG for Entitlement Grantees – without the DR module – will be offered in Indianapolis, Jacksonville, Phoenix, Richmond, VA, and San Francisco. Basically CDBG for States will be offered in Boston. Registration details for these trainings will be posted soon.
